a goldfish..it is okay since almost any fish can use a heater. ive seen them in pet stores to be honest. and the goldfish dont mind. its just like a betta in warm water and or without air bubbles.

it depends on the kind of tank. if i were you i would go for 2 clown fish and a cleaner shrimp. a 20g somewhat restricts you to smaller fihs, but don’t let that phase you. if you are a beginner, it may be harder than a bigger tank, but so long as you keep a close eye on your water parameters you should be fine.

You need to get a health certificate. And tell customs in both Thailand and the UK to get permission.
You can get health certificates from a vet in the country of origin.
And call the BIP for an exam when you get back. I’d call the air line and call customs for rules.
